These wheels from Sport Max are designed with a retro flavor to fit new wave tuner and old school cars. A variety of sizes, widths and colors are available.

The 501 wheel comes in both a high- and low-offset style. Both feature a “stepped lip” design as well as a multi-piece look, though the wheel is just one piece.

One Review of Sport Max 501 Wheels

    Weight:
I gave it a 5. These suckers are 15lbs. Light as hell. Combined with the 195/45 Toyos Im running, they are 30lbs per corner. After running a wheel/tire combo of 40lbs and dropping 10lbs of unspring weight and rotating mass, the car is a lot more peppy when accelerating. Also, the light weight inproves stopping distance.

    Overall:
I gave it a 3. Not so much for the multi-lug lug pattern, but because the paint chips off REALLY easy if you arent careful. The lug holes on these wheels just barely fit a 3/8″ drive 17mm socket. My suggestion is to have a dedicated deep 17mm socket for these wheels. I would also coat the outside of the socket with some sort of lubricant to keep the friction down and keep the paint on the wheel.

The reason I chose this wheel was for its size (15×8), the light weight (15lbs) and the price (Ebay: $390 shipped to my door).
