0 Negative ReviewsFor the enthusiast looking for a mild drop and not something quite as low (or raked) as a 60/40, the 40/40 setup from Weitec might be right for you. Weitec sport suspensions are high-quality products, but have an unbelievable cost to performance ratio.
For optimal suspension tuning, Weitec Sports Springs have been combined with Weitec GT dampers. The dampers have pre-set damping characteristics and the rears are equipped with a grooved ring and adjustable spring plates for fine-tuning your ride height.
Cup kits are an affordable alternative to coilovers that still give you a great stance. The only downside to cup kits are that you can’t adjust the ride height, but if that isn’t a concern of yours, the cup kit is the perfect option.

Installation:
I gave it a 3. Only because you really do need an impact gun to get the nuts off the front struts. Other than that, suspension installs are pretty simple. Also, an allignment is absolutely necessary after doing this as your front camber needs to be re-alligned to prevent abnormal tread wear.
Performance:
5. The damping is pretty good with these struts/shocks. They are a perfect strut/shock to spring combo.
Overall:
: 3I strong 4. I have had this 40/40mm kit for 6 years. They still ride like the day I bought them. With the exception of the C-clips on the rear shock bodies rusting away to nothing, they still ride like the day I bought them. When I first got them, I chose the 40mm kit because I didnt want to be too low. I have since cut two of the dead coils off of the front springs and the ride is the same….no bounce. Weitec is one of the best cup kits out there.
