Some shirts would be cool. Not really a fan of those button-thingies, though.

I'd def be down for rocking some Mk3Love shirts. I need a new hoody as it is so lets get to it. Since this is a new forum (created very well and easy to use btw) maybe we can get the rest of the forum involved with this. A lot of people can draw, and have some good ideas for shirts floating around.

As long as the artist was cool with it (and if they arent then they can't participate) then we can post them up here, let the forum vote and those could be the shirts used. That way you know everyone is gonna like the shirts since we all voted on the ones we want in production, and whosever art gets used can walk around with a wonderful feeling of self satisfaction knowing that there are dubbers out there proudly rocking there work. Just an idea, tossing things around Smile

I'm thinking the basic block design would work well. Other designs could be done down the line. Not sure about including the ".com" or not. What do you guys/girls think? What color? What size/dimensions?

Be thinking about where you would put them. I was thinking rear upper right corner of the windshield would be good. Or rear 3/4 window (the part that doesn't roll down).

I sent a set of wheel adapters to rayray086 down in Aussie-land so I don't think mailing a few decals would be a big deal. Wink

I think i would like a black or navy shirt with white letters. and looking at those, i like the one that doesnt have .com on the shirt. But you could have that logo be like 4x4 on the front of the shirt without .com, and then on the back on the shirt near the neck, in smaller letter have www.mk3love.com. That way you can still get the name out

edit: well the more i look at it i think i like them both. But my only concern is, am I gonna be able to get a hoody? cuz i need some type of VW hoody in the worst kind of way Very Happy

The idea that you're talking about was one of my first thoughts. Basically just a simple shirt with the logo and web address. From there I have some ideas about other neat kinds of designs.

As for hoodies, I'd need to find a good supplier first. They also raise the cost. We ordered some zipup hoodies for our local VW club and I'm not too impressed with the fitment/quality of them. I'd want to make sure we were getting quality products.

yea i agree. but if possible, hoodies are a must. it depends on the compnay that is doing the printing cuz you can find a company online that does bulk sales of hoodies. We have had some made for my fraternity in the past so i can look into that if you want, or i dunno if you are just gonna go through the compnay that does the screen printing and get the hoodies from them. the simple design is tight. i have seen a lot og "tag" style pictures of mk3's over at vortex over teh years. Id love to have something like that on a shirt. Kinda like a a sketch of a dub rolling but as though its being viewed through a wide angle lense or fish eye

If you wouldn't mind checking into those hoodies online, that would be a big help. I hear what you're saying about the drawing too. I've got a few slick ideas up my sleeves for artwork, but I'm definitely open to suggestions from everybody here.

That's probably the direction I'm going. They could be black or some other color, but I would probably only get one color in multiple sizes to start with.

I don't have anyone set up yet, but I do have a few ideas of who I can use locally.
