Man I tell you what, throwing your ride round a closed curcuit track is the bomb! street mountain runs and the like just don't compare If you like speed I recomend it |

| Which ones the NA? The one you had ziptied on yours? Yeah next year fir my high school "senior year cumulative project" I plan on building up another vr6, my buddys dad works at a machine shop that builds some pretty hi-po stuff and learning how to do it while making myself a potentially fast engine would be excellent. |

man the North American lip is shallower than the euro lip, here's a pic :-
also a small update, sorry, i'm terribly lazy huh!
um, the rear mk4 calipers are all sorted with braided lines and paint and also sourced a non abs set up, though I picked up a pair of those little red rear brembo calipers of an Evo8 and to run them i'll need to somehow upgrade to a thicker/bigger disc; I need to research into swaping the the mk4 rear stub axles onto a mk3?? but this isn't too important, more of a little interesting nerdy screw around
the engine bay has been grinded, sanded, bogged, sanded, bogged and sanded which gave me ouchy finger tips! what an experience, I have no idea how panel beaters do it for a living?! and today my mate is coming over to lay some primer then over a couple of days he'll lay down the colours, oh, did I say coloursssss, as in plural you'll peep it once it's done
Havn't really touched the interior yet, we won't paint till I get the cage built so i'll just start preping that after the engine bay is done. and btw, my mate isn't a painter, he does it for fun and for a little more bread on the side so we'll have to wait and see how it turns out! he's repaired his drift damaged S14 and resprayed the whole car from within his garage and it's pretty darn good concidering, so yeah, we'll see
once the bay is painted it's off too the workshop to have the engine dropped in! holly molly huh, then I just need to raid the coin jar for the computer and exhaust or everyone can sponsor/donate to me?
pics.
The new 2.9 throttle body (comparison)
getting the shave with removed coolant pipes
Interior roof shite gawn! what a pain in the rectom!
rear brakes done
and my bay before
and after
and the workshop! DIY FTW!

ok, first colour down! and i'm over the moon! I couldn't get the smile of my face after seeing it! Introducing the first of four, Mr Pastachio Green
(The colour was really hard to capture with the camera under my fluros, every pic turned out a different shade! I tried adjusting as close as possible with the comp but then everyones monitor is set up different so to know what it actually looks like you'll have to see it in person) enjoy . . .

update time!
Bought some new oem heavy duty upper strut mounts and fuel lines brackets. (the original fuel line brackets are plastic and deteriorate as I found out when it crumbled into my hand apon removal )
also fitted up the painted non-abs brake system. booster, cylinder, reservoir n lines. Though one of the lines that I had snatched from a wreckers had been savaged by someone with three attempted cut marks gotta go get another one now . . .
And the car is back on the ground!
