TSW Stealth Test Fit

Posted on 28 June 2007

Last night I went out and test fit the TSW Stealth wheels that are for sale locally. I knew the wheels were 15″ in diameter, but I had no idea what the width would be. I was expecting it to be 6 or 6.5. Upon further inspection of the wheels I discovered they are actually 15×7. With the extra inch of width over my stock wheels (14×6), they really seem to fit the fenders well. I imagine a rear spacer could be utilized to pop them out a bit in the back, but overall I am very happy with how they look on the car.

Now it’s just a matter of putting the money together to pay for them.

Simple wheels but they work quite well on your Jetta. Maybe it’s your suspension drop coupled with the OEM-like look they give. Also, if you do manage to get bored of them, you could also try your hand at painting them ;) Any colour works with black.

Like I said, I’ve been stewing over wheel choices for awhile now. I like how simple these wheels are and I’m getting them for a good price. Like you said, they do almost seem like an OEM wheel. Due to the great condition they’re in currently, I’ll probably be keeping them silver for now. But, you never know a can of spray may find its way into my hands and onto the wheels… :D

Haha mate, that’s fine - only important thing is that you are able to appreciate it. That’s all that matters.
