I bought some new tools tonight for the suspension install, but I still think I’m going to need to borrow my friend’s impact wrench. For one, the offset metric box wrenches I bought won’t work, and two, I tried using another wrench plus the allen socket on the top nut and it wouldn’t even budge. [...]

After doing some research, it sounds like replacing the strut mounts on my car is a must when I do the suspension. Apparently, even Volkswagen admits that they are a 60,000 mile item. I ended up going to the best online shop for OEM parts, German Auto Parts, and ordered new heavy duty strut mounts [...]
