PKG BBQ at Cadwiz’s Place

Posted on 25 March 2007

The first big GTG of the year (with nice weather) for Projekt German happened on March 25th. We had about 10 cars and 15-20 people there throughout the day. Cadwiz lives just outside the city so we had a lot of room to park all of the cars and lounge about enjoying the weather. This event also marked the introduction of a few new members to PKG so it was nice to meet them face-to-face and welcome them to the club.

Thanks to Loccusst for the group shots and to Cadwiz for the front shot of DSV.

SML had his Mk5 GLI at the GTG and I helped install his $1,400 Milltek exhaust. It truly was a work of art. I was amazed at the quality and craftsmanship, but for $1,400 you basically have to expect that.

Brews were downed and burgers were devoured, all capped off by a large bonfire and roasted marshmallows. Everybody had a great time and I’m sure we’ll be back out there again this summer.
