Yesterday my ECU chip upgrade and my early Vento front grill arrived courtesy of UPS. Last night I put the grill on in a friend’s garage and installed the TT chip after picking up some of my tools I loaned to a friend. The chip from Techtonics Tuning is AWESOME! I wasn’t sure at first, but after doing a couple good launches and really taking the RPM’s up there, I could definitely feel the difference. I even got the car up just under 7K RPMs…. and then under deceleration and at idle it just sits there and purrs. No CEL either. Big thumbs up to Techtonics Tuning!

As far as the grill goes, it was a fairly simple install. My original grill was broken, so I basically just yanked it off. The early Vento grill snapped right into place along with the metal grill strip and black VW emblem. Here are a couple pictures I took this morning:
